Early May Bank Holiday Monday 5 May 2025
9am - 3pm | Free Entry
Market Hill & Sudbury Arts Centre, Sudbury, CO10 2EA

Sudbury's Plant & Flower Fair has become a highlight in East Anglia's horticultural calendar. Taking place in the centre of Sudbury the fair features a range of East Anglia's best quality nurseries and specialist growers.

In 2025, Sudbury Town Council is partnering with Sudbury Arts Centre to deliver a new format event which will include free creative and eco workshops, local florists and cut flowers growers and sellers, wildlife and biodiversity organisations and an opportunity to get green fingered with our experts. You can even have a go at botanical drawing!

We offer a number of local charities free pitches to sell their plants, garden creations and promote their work so you'll be supporting local good causes while you shop!

One of the best town centre farmers markets in Suffolk!

Right in the centre of one of Suffolk’s Hidden Gems – the birthplace of Gainsborough and the heart of Britain’s silk industrial heritage.

Sudbury Farmers Market is held entirely outside and spreads all the  way along Market Hill with the statue of Thomas Gainsborough looking over us!

Over twenty five stalls join us each month, on the last Friday including Sunshine & Green with fresh organic vegetables, vegan pastries from The Norwegian Bakers, local honey from BeeHouse Honey, homemade pies from Hoskyn’s and a selection of regional cheeses. Locally based Alex’s Artisan Bakery treats everyone with delicious slices of fresh baked cakes and Tensheds Bakehouse join us every month with sourdoughs and loaves. Look out for tasty sausages and venison from Totham Bangers and Meadow and Woodland Livestock offer a range of their home reared beef, pork, lamb, venison and hogget.

Lindsey based charity The Befriending Scheme bring a range of plants and herbs from their Community Farm and there are a selection of craft beers from Drinkstone Ales.
